I’m going to Bangladesh in August for work. Wow. I initially said I wasn’t too hot on the idea but with some research and the promise of a good hotel I didn’t mind so much. There’s no one else that can go anyway, so I have to.
Looking into vaccinations now.
Wow, I guess.
Cool. Bring back some of their tasty sweets.
What sweets are the Bangladeshis known for?
Cool!
You’ll have to visit the parliament building when you’re there.
It’s one of my favorite pieces of architecture OF ALL TIME.
I want an elephant.
On a stick?
Stick / No Stick,
Whatever’s easiest to fit in a suitcase,
I’m not fussy.
Incidentally, a week in Bangladesh might be the coolest Junket ever, unless you’ve been lying to us all and have actually recently got a job as an aid worker… In which case, fair play,
Lots of sweets involving fruits and nuts. In fact, the parliament building may be made entirely of sweets.
Sucks, the only junket I ever had was to Bandon.
Jaypers. Bangladesh?
Tis far from this I was raised. You’re getting much cooler junkets than I got :-)
bring us back a junket so.
Ok, that’s one Junket, an Elephant (stick optional) and a Chocolate Parliament building. Anything else?
Kipling-esque traveller’s tales to delight and amaze? [Though there’s no need to sing the praises of Queen Victoria while you’re at it.] Anyway, enjoy it, Cliph.
